There is only the present. There is only what you can do with what you have now.
The past is irrelevant to the now. It’s fluff. All that matters is that you learn from it, and remember the things that are important to you. Only remember, never dwell. Because the past is set in stone and can never change, but it’s what you do with that information and those experiences that matter. “Wishing for things to go back to the way they were” is an exercise in futility. You are alive right now and everybody has a time limit. Why waste that time focusing on things that have already happened?
The future, on the other hand, has yet to happen. Do something with it, because you’re the only one who can.
